I found it difficult to feel that emotional in the required places, the movie timeskipped so much that it was hard to really feel for the characters or the historical moments. Still though First Man didn't grip my heart like it clearly wanted, I found it to be a great character piece and Ryan Gosling was terrific as usual.
The space scenes looked terrific and I noticed the film looked to be shot in a more gritty way to have the feel of the time period. Good film, try to see in the theater!
