Review of First Knight (1995) by Linda D — 17 Nov 2009
This film could have been so much better. This is a take on the old Arthur Legend. Sean Connery was a great casting for King Arthur and Julia Ormond for Lady Guinevere. But Richard Gere was a bad choice to play Sir Lancelot.
He seemed so out of place as the character and he had no accent. Connery saves the movie. The story though does have that nice mix of adventure, action and romance. Worth a one time watch.
