Review of First Knight (1995) by Rachel — 08 Aug 2008
I love this movie. This is the movie that gave Richard Gere sex appeal to me. Sean Connery has always been dead sexy. Julia Ormond again pulls off that strength and vulnerability mojo she's got working behind that stunning face.
The costuming and sets are GORGEOUS. And there's that Arthurian legend I love so much again. Two of my favorite movie kisses of all time are in this movie. When Guinever is returned to Arthur and she runs to him in the chapel, that's an awesome kiss.
And when Lance FINALLY kisses Gwen, that's even better. *sigh* Connery is sexier than Gere, but damn.
