Review of First Knight (1995) by Ryan Gibbons — 14 Jan 2011
This film was pure medieval goodness. Sean Connery as the sturdy King Arthur and Richard Gere as the wayward Lancelot made for a great combo. The plot was classic, full of epic fights & rivalries, as well as a well-designed love triangle.
The sets were legitimate, that was before the time most movies CGI-rendered their films. The costumes and props were wicked, obviously Zucker had some big money behind him. All around a great movie.
