OK, yes the critics panned the movie. But here is the biggest thing you must remember about film critics. They like to see original stuff. They don't like the same thing done in the same way twice.
Yes, there are a few exceptions. But that, I believe, is the biggest thing that you must remember. And back to this movie. Is it unoriginal? Yes, it is done better elsewhere and many times. but this one isn't terrible.
Bettany is really good. But other than that a average performance all around. But none-the-less, I enjoyed the movie. Maybe I like Ford that much or maybe Bettany is that good, I don't know but I liked more than most.
But I admit it is an average movie at best.
