Review of Firestarter (1984) by Jeff B — 20 Jun 2008

Meh Stephen King film from the 80s that I finally got around to watching. The story isn't explained very well, and at times it seemed like it was just trying to feed off of the popularity of Carrie and pull off some of that film's tricks.

Nothing special, it's got a lot of close ups of Drew Barrymore's face and her hair being blown back which got very repetetive and pretty laughable. I probably should give this an extra half star for George C Scott's ponytail.
