Review of Firestarter (1984) by Toby-Linn S — 31 Mar 2009

Definitely not as good as the book! I found it very disjointed and condensed at times. Drew Barrymore was good as Charlie but she grated on my nerves at times, her character was a little whiny. I don't know why they had the stupid special effects like David Keith having to grab his head every time he used his power, and Charlie's hair blowing around.

They also changed some plot stuff and I don't know why. But it was still entertaining and fun to watch!
