Review of Firefox (1982) by Dan P — 19 Aug 2011
As a Clint Eastwood fan there's no movie of his that I out right dislike (even though I couldn't get through Paint Your Wagon). I was starting to question that for about the first 20 minutes of Firefox but I think it was because it wasn't what I was expecting after sorta thinking it was a really good movie of his that I had skipped over.
The biggest problems are that it is so slow & Eastwood is sorta miscast. Directing this too something drew him to this project but Im not really sure what that might have been. You have to give into to it after awhile & it does become more enjoyable especially after he steals that jet after about an hour & 15 minutes but there are a lot better Cold War thrillers out there.
A little disappointed but not a total loss.
