I know, when it was released, people hated it. it was too different from the show, it was brutal, creepy, there was almost no humor, and Dale Cooper was barely in the film. Now, people love it. I always loved it since the first time; For me, it's really one of Lynch's best movie.
The directing is amazing, same for cinematography. Actors are all exceptional, Sheryl Lee is more than amazing and she's haunting. Some scenes are really hard and heartbreaking, some others are pretty sweet and beautiful, and the ending omg.
The score from Angelo Badalamenti is just perfect and suits the scenes perfectly.
