Review of Finger of God (2007) by Jacob C — 29 May 2016

62/100 - I want to be clear that I absolutely love the content of Finger of God; however, I have to judge it as a film, not just as a spiritual experience. Darren Wilson sure knows how to use shock value, as there are plenty of weird, crazy, and ridiculous stories of the power of the Holy Spirit told here.

However, he uses it a little too much for my tastes, and sometimes the way the film is put together can be a little scatterbrained. Several times I had to ask myself why a part of the film was even present because it just detracted from the film's flow so much.

It's definitely worth watching for its content, but understand that this is really raw and unpolished filmmaking.
