Review of Finding Neverland (2004) by Daisy M — 26 Dec 2010
I have seen many of his works, and he always surprised me, like he did with The Kite Runner, and now with Finding Neverland, Marc Foster had always been one of my favorite directors, and what he pulled up with Finding Neverland, I had no words to describe.
Putting Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet, two amazing performers, then throw in Dustin Hoffman, Julie Christie, and four adorable children, means its a treat for your eyes. The story centered about a play writer, Sir James M.
Barrie, who met a woman with four children, who inspired him to write a story about Peter Pan.Johnny Depp was, as usual, stunning. He gave the most sophisticated performance that was very touching. Freddie Highmore was amazing delivering such an acting for a young child, specially in the last scene.
The movie was full of beautiful use of imagination and delivered a sweet message. The ending was just beautiful, despite the fact it became blurry, since my eyes were filled with tears.
