Review of Finding Neverland (2004) by Sarah M — 24 Jan 2012
'Finding Neverland' is an excellent re-telling of actual events of playwright James M. Barrie writing the play of 'Peter Pan" the moment he met widowed mother Sylvia Davies and her children.
The film dialogue is formal, as it is set in the early 20th century and comes from great acting performances like lead stars Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. I understand the characters' language well.
As the movie title says it all, Neverland has been found and inspired "Peter Pan" stories created to this day.
