Review of Final Cut (1993) by Angel M — 13 Dec 2007
The Final Cut gives us a really cool premise which brings a lot of things to the table! What if you could record everything in your life (video and audio) from the first person perspective? Think about it.
.. EVERYTHING WILL BE RECORDED, yep that's right... Robin Williams plays Alan, a cutter, a guy that takes all of those embedded recordings when you die and creates a "feel good" video for the family once the host dies.
What does he cuts out? Everything else that sucked... in his POV. I think it's a really interesting movie that could have dragged on for hours but the pace was good. Not as suspenseful as I thought it would be but good nonetheless.
Good performances by Caviezel and Sorvino. The ending I didn't liked much but hey... you can make it your own! :-p.
