Review of Filth (2013) by Tomsoca — 04 Jun 2014
Filth is a film which attracted me only by its trailer. I knew neither the book, nor what told the history. Well the film proved to be an excellent surprise. Especially with the enormousacting of James McAvoy, quite simply monstrous.
It is able to render comprehensible to us all these changes of emotions and its lifestyle He is the foolest of the film and start a radical descent into hell, but the character gives us a certain empathy.
Besides the excellent acting of McAvoy, the realization is worthy. The director manages to carry us in this tale for adults. Besides that, the film proposes a successful original soundtrack, a Clint Mansell inspired.
