While the book was even more dark and disturbing....this get there quick. Felt like the same world as Trainspotting(which it should since Rent Boy is a character and that both stories were written by Irvine Welsch).
Some of the more over the top stuff was left out, but Mr McAvoy definitely surprised me as the abominable Bruce Robertson....great film.
