Review of Filth (2013) by Ilsa W — 24 May 2014
Only the wonderful James McAvoy could play such a revolting character and still be likable. This film is quite dark at times and seriously messed up but it's also hugely funny. Seeing Bruce slowly unravel is fascinating and the reveal at the end takes you completely by surprise.
McAvoy is definitely underrated as an actor and this is one of his best!
