Review of Filth (2013) by Syed R — 09 Aug 2014
McAvoy gives possibly his career best performance (so far) in the role of an obnoxious and morally corrupt policemen with surprising layers of depth and complexity. Profane, true to its title, but at the end surprisingly moving and poignant as well.
Terrific adaptation of an apparently unfilmable novel from the writer of Trainspotting.
