Some good acting, and a fun time period (I love me some disco), but it's really just too depressing to be an excellent film. I wonder how much of it is actually true, and how much of it is here say, or Hollywood gossip. I have to do more research into this lady.
Overall, not a bad movie, just not something most would enjoy, because of the sad love story and weird subject matter.
Watched at Eau Claire with Sam during the Calgary International Film Festival, September 29, 2017.
