Allow me to preface my review by stating that my name is in fact Scott and I managed two video stores in my lifetime. I am quite a film geek, at least that's what I thought.

Scotty Pelk is a likeable movie character. He watches entirely too many movies, lusts after women he doesn't have the guts to talk to and alienates anyone who doesn't respect film the way he does. That said, he is still likeable. This is a flick developed by two film geeks (the main writer actually based Scotty on himself!). It is a funny movie that deserves a see for any fellow film geek, though most people who primarily enjoy mainstream fare won't find much value to it.
