Fighting consistently feels like a patchwork of better movies without their excitement or rooting interest in character. The problem is that, even with some very strong acting, we're never quite convinced to believe either the relationships or situations.
It doesn't help that the protagonist happens to be played by an actor who looks more like a fashion model than tough street fighter.
