Review of Fighting (2009) by Caiti S — 23 Jul 2010
Fighting was very disapointing. I was really pumped for awhile to go see this because I love Channing Tatum and shirtless guys :0) Anyways, I knew right from the first scene where Channing gets into a fight with Terrence Howard's minions that it was going to be a predictable and boring movie.
The dialouge was so quiet, I think I had the surround sound up to max at one point and I stilll couldn't fully make out what they were saying. They also spoke wayy too fast! The fight scenes, which were supposed to be the pinacle of the movie, were amature and lame.
Mind you, when Channing summonded up all the strength to pick up the asian guy and throw him to the ground, that was cool. The characters were forgettable and the chemistry between Channing and Zulay was not there.
All and all, this movie was forgettable and the ending and story were so dumb. PLUS the shirtless Channing Tatum I was dying to see was a diaspointment as well. Come on Channing, give me something more than a skinny white guy with a two-pack!?
