Review of Fight for Your Life (1977) by Ice R — 30 Jan 2009
This Grindhouse/Explotation classic from 1977 is fantastic. It's just unfortunate that not many people get it so they start to play the racism card and seem to forget that it's the fictional characters that are racist, not the movie.
But with that put to one side the film is gripping and enjoyable. The tale is a simple one but it has been thought out well and becomes a whole new take on the hostage situation storyline. There are characters who you love to hate and plenty of characters who you just love (Including Grandma). This film is underated and deserves a larger audience!
