Review of Fight for Your Life (1977) by Travis J — 12 Aug 2009
A trio of escaped prisoners (William Sanderson is brilliant as the maniacal leader) hold a family hostage. This movie has rape and graphic child murder, but its really shocking feature is the racist dialog.
There's no moral ambiguity here; the film is clearly pro-vengeance, pro-vigilante, anti-pacifist.
A fine example of a film that would never find distribution if it were made today.
