Review of Fight Club (1999) by Colin P — 29 May 2015

I'll say what I liked and disliked without spoiling the film.

I enjoyed the dialogue, unexpected turns in the story, and point of view. I usually don't like when films have a narrator or the sound of the characters thoughts, but this movie handled it very well.

The only problem is that even without changing the volume I get both deafeningly loud parts in the film, and very silent speaking parts which is poor sound editing. to make up for that, I'll point out that I liked how the punching sound effects were often not added and instead a more realistic sound of contact was left in.

That one complaint about the sound aside, Fight Club is a great film.
