Review of Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) by Merlin R — 14 Jun 2015
A coming of age tale where two star crossed lovers meet over a unrealistically hot/innocent/shy print media journalist's interview. As the journalist asks the first 27 year billionaire (that isn't Mark Zuckerberg) questions he stares at her in a pedophile manner that doesn't make her uncomfortable.
When the billionaire shows up at the journalist's second job at the hardware store and stares at her again in a creepy manner she is yet again not phased that he has most likely beheaded someone but has gotten away with it.
So what does she do? The only thing she knows how to do--set up a photo shoot where he stares at her in such a way that he's imagining what her skin would look like as his new coat. Next she agrees to a coffee date.
This ain't your "Let's talk about our Lord and savior Jesus Christ" standard coffee date. He leaves awkward after staring at her again probably to go eat human flesh to satisfy his desires.
A sexual relationship starts. There are a few misunderstandings that could be settled quickly by calling the authorities but I'm doing giving away spoilers for those who hate spoilers. I love plane rides and cities with a general population of over 100,000 people so I have to give an extra star for that footage.
