Review of Fifty Shades Darker (2017) by Maisey%20 F — 26 Feb 2017

I LOVED the first movie and was so excited to see the second movie on Valentine's. I couldn't have been more disappointed. The movie lacked pace throughout. At times I found myself yawning and checking my watch. The music was poorly selected for this movie also. So cheesy compared to the first movie which had tracks that were hot as hell. Taylor swifts voice playing in what appeared to be a titanic boat scene with Christian just completely ruined it for me. I know there was a new director for this movie and I have to say it really showed. It felt completely detached from the first movie in every way. It lacked excitement and even the sex scenes were disappointing at times.

I wish this was a more positive review but alas I have to be honest. I'm no longer anticipating the third.
