Review of Fifty Shades Darker (2017) by Elizabeth H — 16 Feb 2017

The movie overall was ok. Dakota Johnson did step up her game considerably with the acting but there was still much to be desired. The movie plot was just mediocre and you feel as if you're literally just following along with parts of the book.

There are 5 sex scenes and they are all still lacking a fiery connection between Dornan and Johnson. The beginning was too basic. I wanted to see more of a resistance of Anna to take Christian back. She made it way too easy for him and that made the beginning boring with a lack of intensity and drama on their reunion especially when you consider where the first movie ended -a heart aching goodbye.
