Review of Field of Dreams (1989) by Jolie S — 17 Sep 2009
Viewed recently. It gets better with age, I think, especially with the dwindling role of the family farmer who's really into sixties liberalism. It still made me cry and still made me think that I love baseball (even when I don't).
As a kid, the Terrence Mann (James Early Jones) storyline didn't make much sense but as an adult, it's a great secondary theme to this movie. Censorship is wrong. Peace and love are where it's at.
