Review of Fido (2006) by Kari S — 30 Jan 2009
A mix of cliches from zombie movies all the way to Lassie. Yeah, it sounds odd but it works surprisingly well. The directing and the acting are pretty solid (I especially liked the surprisingly good Carrie-Anne Moss) but the problem of the movie is that it feels a bit boring.
There isn't much of a story and you know what's going to happen throughout the movie. This wouldn't necessarily be bad but there's also not much happening in the movie so now it feels like a walk through a good, and pretty well executed, idea.
