Review of Fiddler on the Roof (1971) by Pauline S — 10 Aug 2008
If there was ever a holy trinity of musicals, "Fiddler on the Roof" would surely be part of it (along with "The Sound of Music" and "Moulin Rouge!"). The songs are timeless.
You could probably recall the entire movie just by the music score alone. Oh, the beginning melody of Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl"? Yeah, it's a rip off (or tribute?) from this film. Watch.
Learn. Enjoy!
