There are musicals that become part of the popular culture with songs that you know even if you didn't see the stage show or the film version. Indeed, I had never seen Fiddler on the Roof but knew many of the famous beloved musical set pieces.
Just loved the movie of Tevye and his family and his community in the dark times of pre-revolution Russia.
