Review of Fiddler on the Roof (1971) by Jack G — 19 Apr 2011
This movie has a great music composed by John Williams, good characters as well as good humor. Desapite these good aspects, this movie goes up suck creek after the first wedding occurs and the Pogroms who literally crash the wedding.
After this happens despair and sadness come about and the film ends up having no conclusion as the Jewish towns people retreat to another place. I didn't for this ever since it conflict came in and ruined the film.
Conflict is not supposed to do this to the film, its supposed to make it interesting. Anyway, this movie is disappointing and mediocre; skip it. 5.5/10.
