Review of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) by Ben T — 29 Mar 2015

When it comes to my favourite comedies of all time it's either Dumb and Dumber or Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I love this movie and it's absolutely hillarious. Matthew Broderick is great in the movie, he's a bit of an asshole but he's so likeable.

Cameron and Sloan are also great in the movie and they all make a great group. Mr Rooney is also great, it's funny to see him try and catch Ferris and by the end it's just hillarious to see him fail.

The film is also laugh out loud funny. I love the scene in the Art Gallery, it's so strange and I don't know why but I love it. The Ferrari is also amazing in the movie and by the end you do feel sad to see it go.

I also love how stupid the parents are it's just great to see them get fooled. His sister is also great, the scene where she kicks Rooney in the face is really funny. Charlie Sheen is also in the film for one scene and he's absolutely hillarious he's a bit creepy but he's so funny and likeable.

I also love Rooney's secretary, she's such an idiot and it's really funny to see her in scenes. John Hughes brilliantly directs the movie, the parade scene is a prime example of that. The parade scene is absolutely brilliant it's funny, entertaining and just fun, if it had been any shorter you would have felt like you missed out and if it was longer it would have been boring.

The scene where Ferris runs home is also great and it has a brilliant use of slow motion. This film is an absolute classic and I love it, without a doubt in my top 20 favourite movies of all time. A+.
