A very good movie, and my favorite movie of all-time. Not only does FBDO do a fantastic job at capturing '80s nostalgia, but allows us to live vicariously through Ferris Bueller with his optimistic outlook on life.
Even though Ferris Bueller commits truancy and frequently breaks the fourth wall, he cares deeply about his best friend Cameron, and helps him gain self-respect. FBDO also has genuinely hilarious moments - such as the scene where Cameron impersonates Sloane's dad in order to get Sloane out of school, and the scene where Mr.
Rooney receives his comeuppance by a Rottweiler as he attempts to intrude the Bueller household.
