Review of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) by Benjamin M — 29 Mar 2016

Ferris Bueller's day off is one of my favorite comedies of all time. Matthew Broderick is fantastic as Ferris and the other performances are top notch like Alan ruck as Ferris's best friend, Mia Sara as his girlfriend, Jennifer Grey as his sister and Charlie sheen in a funny scene that I will not spoil.

Chicago never looked better thanks to it's beautiful skyline shots, it's incorporation of the great number of landmarks and (of course) the parade scene. Fun fact, this movie was one of the first films to incorporate an after credits scene and that scene in question, was the inspiration for the after credits scene in Deadpool (2016).

I recommend this movie, it is one of John Hughes's (Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles) best movies ever.
