Review of Fermat's Room (2007) by James B — 29 May 2008
Interesting film that has that unique spanish style to it. I found the way they built up tension in one room very engaging and happened so seamlessly that you don't notice the change until the end.
The narrative is typically a horror/thriller and that is what it is, Hits the genre perfectly.
One scene in particular with a car crash I thought was great for Independant or low budget films in that it was done with clever compositing and doesn't actually show the impact.
