Review of Fermat's Room (2007) by Phil N — 21 Jun 2009
Four mathematicians are invited to a gathering where they're forced to solve various riddles before the walls close in and crush them to death. Yes, it's Saw for brainboxes. Actually, that does Fermat's Room a disservice, as it's a smart, clever little film that manages to be both exciting to watch and engages the brain at the same time.
A simple plot which twists and turns as it reveals how and why the four have been brought together, along with the tension of the puzzle solving itself, makes for a satisfying film. Recommended.
