Review of Fences (2016) by Dale D — 27 Jan 2017
Great art, good emotions, great acting, hard to watch with our current habit and insatiable appetite for 'entertainment' nowadays, does make one think about ones own life and family, fount it hard to sympathize with the 'victim mentality' father, ungrateful and selfish charactor but I get it.
Universal script, I feel it could have been done with a hispanic family or Irish immigrant family, not just a black story. well done but laborious to view for me. I could actually watch it again someday.
Denzel and Viola were really great.
