Review of Fences (2016) by Nátt D — 19 Feb 2017
It's not the easiest film to get your teeth in to and, at times, it can be a hard slog where the transition from stage to screen hasn't been quite nailed (notable in most of Washingtons' monologues).
But it proves worth it by the end. There's some hard-hitting moments and Viola Davis is a powerhouse performance from the off.
