Although this film came across like a play, the performances elevated it. (Yes, I know it originally was a play). Denzel is always reliably good as is Viola and neither disappointed here. I'm not sure how Viola was only nominated as a supporting actress for a Golden Globe.
What a shame. She was in many scenes and stole the show. Fierce performance.
