Superb acting from Denzel, as always but I think this movie would have been better left as a play instead of being turned into a movie. The dialogue is great but you're stuck just witnessing all this exchange through the same backdrop.
I guess we are meant to be transported emotionally by the amazing dialogue and acting of the actors but it just doesn't happen to me. After the first 30 minutes you've figured out the plot and what's going to happen next.
This shouldn't have been made into a movie and kept as a play, it would have reached that level of emotional reaction if was asking of its audience.
