Review of Femme Fatale (2002) by Grant S — 26 Nov 2010
A typical Brian De Palma movie: all style, no substance. C-grade plot plastered over with a heap of clever padding: elegant music, meaningless slow motion scenes plus slow pacing and seemingly clever contrivences, just to make you think the characters and plot are being developed.
This time he even shoots the film in France, and mostly in French, just to make it even more pretentious.
