I enjoy John Waters and think this is one of his smartest films--an over-the-top contemplation of the celebrity and cult of personality we create around criminal behavior. There are moments when I was rolling on the floor laughing (indeed, Mink Stole almost upstages Divine) and I highly recommend this one.
You'll be humming the title song the morning after, I promise.
