Review of Female Trouble (1976) by Sausages M — 08 Apr 2011
I always enjoy John Water movies. Although not technically the most sound films due to budget restraints they are always offensively amusing leaving me either smiling or laughing. Female Trouble pulls no punches.
Divine is in fine form just running away w/ this film as he/she proves that crime does indeed equal beauty. Just some great uproarious dialogue throughout that is sure to detour most people but I love it.
Didn't need to see Edith Massey naked though. That sorta made me throw up in my mouth a bit but if Water's doesn't test your gag reflex he has probably failed to do what he has set out to do.
