An absolutely stunning example of why Meiko Kaji is the undisputed queen of Japanese Grindhouse cinema. Its brutal and sadistic leading lady delivers what would be the first of a quartet of outstanding, hard hitting violent episodes.
Worth watching alone to hear Kaji's beautiful rendition of Urami Bushi.
