Filled to the brim with interesting thoughts, ideas, and imagery, but somehow just doesn't come together to make any sort of statement about the man or his movies. Maybe Pettigrew was trying to capture the magic of Fellini by making his documentary Felliniesque, but it just didn't work despite having so much going for it.
