Review of Feel The Noise (2007) by Lovin T — 21 Aug 2008
Started off interesting enough but the ending was lacking. New York born wannabe rapper Rob Vega gets into some trouble with the local gang and hides out with his fathers family in Puerto Rico. He learns about Reggaeton and produces a hit single with his step brother.
Movie really fell short in the end when the gang catches up with him and decides not to kill him but instead mildly beat him up (this is after the leader shoots at him at a club earlier in the movie), just a little unrealistic.
The fact that he creates one song on his first try that becomes a hit seemed a little far fetched and the concert/parade ending was ridiculously corny. Love interest seemed way out of his league and her story didn't need to be pursued as much as it was.
Overall this movie was a bust.
