Review of Feast of Love (2007) by Wendy S — 12 Nov 2008
I liked how this played out to be a well woven complex story, involving three or more couples, without actually getting lost in the intricacies. Explores the nature of love, in winning it and losing it, as well as some exploration of death.
A bit of a godly take on some issues... using the elderly stance of Freeman and his wife as an overseer is quite handy as it allows the audience to take a step back and view it with time and experience.
A crier for sure, and a thinker. Not your typical Hollywood fare.
