Review of Fear of Fear (1975) by Cameron M — 10 Jun 2007
Such a poignant film about two people who need one another. Despite society and familial pressures Emmi and Ali continue to be together. This film speaks of lonliness in different forms. Ali with his isolation from the society that he lives in and Emmi, a widow who misses the company of a man.
The way this relationship unfolds is so true to the way that lonliness and our confort for the familiar fuction.
