Psychedelic visuals are fascinating and Johnny Depp gives a hilarious performance, but the film is only entertaining in fits and starts, never moving coherently from start to finish. This may have been the intention, but it's not the most watchable movie.
Recommended to those tripping balls, heavily intoxicated, or from the 60's.
